The October issue of NZ Autocar is on sale now
In the October 2019 issue of NZ Autocar magazine we detail Land Rover’s new Defender ahead of its arrival here next year, while we take the wheel of the all-new Jeep Wrangler, dirtying its flanks with a romp off road. Back on the black stuff, we helm the insanely quick Porsche 911 GT2 RS and get better acquainted with Aston’s new Vantage V8.
More electric options are becoming available and we review Audi’s first, the e-tron SUV. Skoda’s latest is the five-door Scala. We have the full review of the Sport model, along with a road test Peugeot’s 508 GT, which is now available as a wagon.
From the value files there is a comparison test of the Suzuki Baleno and the Honda Jazz, both tested in whimsically named RS format. We also climb aboard the biggest Haval, the 4x4 H9. And there are further reports on the V6-powered Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 d, Suzuki’s feisty Vitara turbo and the big Ram 2500 Sport.
The classic section looks at a charming collection of micro cars, and we detail one man’s mission to keep the spirit of Possum Borne alive through his rally cars. There’s also a review of a 2000 Toyota Supra while on two wheels we ride the stunning Indian FTR 1200 S and the Street Scrambler from Triumph. The new issue is on sale now.
