Auckland is once again in COVID-19 Alert Level 3 while the remainder of the country is in Alert Level 2. Hyundai New Zealand says its dealer network is ready to support any customer needs, despite some showrooms (those in Auckland) being closed to the public.

For those who wish to keep to their scheduled servicing or test drive appointments, contactless options are available.

As for the rest of the country, Hyundai dealerships will remain open and customers will be able to interact with staff, providing everyone keeps a safe two-metre social distance. Staff will monitor and control the number of people onsite.

Hyundai New Zealand General Manager Andy Sinclair said, “We are well prepared for this. We’ve been here before so we can act swiftly. Our Online Showroom using video call technology will once again be operating, as will our Customer Experience Team to assist our customers with any queries they might have. The safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff and community remain our highest priority.”

All dealerships throughout the country will follow the Ministry of Health’s guidelines and implement the appropriate measures to ensure everyone remains safe.

Renault NZ is also offering Aucklanders the same contactless experience as it offered earlier in the year during similar lockdown conditions, while those in the remainder of the country can visit local Renault dealerships, remembering to be alert to social distancing procedures.
